For the first time ever, central Illinoisans have an LGBTQ+ holiday potluck celebration. Led by Peoria Proud and Central Il Pride-Inc., several nonprofit groups are joining together to provide turkey, ham and vegan options. Attendees are asked to bring sides. RSVPs are requested by Dec. 14. A cash bar will offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic events, and you’re allowed to BYOB. The night will also.  include board games. “The holidays can be difficult on folks,” organizers say,”and it’s great to know that you have a community here that loves you and supports you.”
